Elizabeth BathoryCountess of Csejthe Castle, Bathory had 610 young women killed, for a ritual which she believed would give her evelasting youth. The women would be hung upside-down, blood draining into a vat into which she would bathe. Her tactic does not seem to have been successful; the worms have won their battle. |
