62 volumes of Adolf Hitler's diaries, purchased by a German magazine (Stern) and vouched as geniune by respected historian Hugh Trevor-Roper, who said "I'm staking my reputation on it." They were later determined to be a modern forgery.

The journals present Hitler as having been completely unaware of the Holocaust.
